MECHA SMILE, the Japanese brand behind the popular MODEROID model kit series, today unveiled its latest entry from the classic robot anime "Brain Powerd": the "Hime Brain," with the "Yuu Brain" also announced for a November 2022 release.
In the world of "Brain Powerd," ANTIBODY are large, robot-like lifeforms reconstituted from metallic particles. They possess unique characteristics such as slow self-regeneration from minor injuries, individual consciousness, and distinct personalities. Rather than direct piloting, their drivers engage them in combat through physical interaction, like encouragement and gentle touches. The ANTIBODY utilized by the protagonist's faction are known as "BRAIN POWERED," while the antagonist Reclaimer forces employ units called "GRAND CHILD."
The "MODEROID Hime Brain" kit features multiple pre-colored plastic parts and pre-painted sections, faithfully recreating its distinctive light blue outer armor and organic frame design. Its highly articulated joints allow for a wide range of dynamic poses, and the lower abdomen cockpit deployment mechanism is also replicated, enabling collectors to display it in its iconic sitting standby pose or recreate intense battle scenes with included armaments like the "Brain Bar" and "Brain Blade." Additionally, the kit comes with circular effect parts to simulate the in-series Chakra glow, and can be displayed with various 3mm joint stands (sold separately). Pair it with the separately sold "Yuu Brain" to recreate their powerful combined attacks.
