The "Dragon Quest" (ドラゴンクエスト) series, arguably one of Japan's national RPGs, has garnered immense popularity since its first release in 1986. Even today, those who haven't played the games are undoubtedly familiar with the iconic "Slime," originally designed by Akira Toriyama. Toys and merchandise featuring Slimes have become irresistible to Dragon Quest fans. Today, we're unboxing some incredibly cute and practical Dragon Quest-themed lifestyle items!
This time, we're diving into how these awesome Dragon Quest goods can enhance your life after work! First up is the "Slime Salt Shaker & King Slime Pepper Shaker" condiment set. With the recent pandemic, many collectors are likely cooking at home more often. Having a super cute condiment set like this is essential to bring some joy to your kitchen.
▼ The set includes two ceramic condiment shakers and a blue tray to hold them.
▼ Both shakers feature sprinkle holes on the back, and the refill openings at the bottom have anti-slip functionality.
Next, we have the "Smiling Slime Mini Coffee Table." For those living in smaller apartments, a large dining table might not be practical, making this Slime coffee table a perfect fit! It's ideal for enjoying a solo dinner or as a convenient side table in your living room.
▼ Turning the Slime's iconic teardrop shape into a tabletop is brilliant! The foldable legs also make it incredibly convenient for storage.
After dinner, it's time to wash up! Hang the "Erdrick's Sword Long Towel" in your bathroom. When you dry your hands, it'll feel like the legendary Sword of Erdrick is sanitizing them once more (it's not, but it's cool!).
▼ The Slime-patterned tag on the inside is also super cute – we couldn't resist snapping a pic!
After a few rounds of gaming and some phone scrolling, it's almost bedtime! What could be more ritualistic than slipping into "Slime Plush Slippers" before heading to your room? Many collectors are likely already sleeping with the AC on, so to prevent cold feet from restless blanket-pulling, warming your feet with these super adorable slippers is a smart move. (Though, after trying them on, we found these slippers are better suited for smaller feet!)
Whether you need a subtle glow before bed or can't sleep in complete darkness, placing a "Slime Color-Changing Lamp" on your nightstand will solve everything!
▼ The side of the packaging box illustrates the color-changing modes of this Slime night light.
▼ The moment we took it out of the box, we were struck by its cuteness!
▼ And it's genuinely squishy, just like a real Slime – you can squeeze it all you want!
▼ The color-changing effect is truly soothing!
Oh! Almost forgot to check if my "King Slime Travel Neck Pillow" – my perfect lunch break companion – was in my bag for work tomorrow! Though, honestly, I'd rather take it on a plane or car trip than to the office.
▼ When not in use, it can sit adorably on display, but come lunchtime, King Slime effortlessly transforms into a neck pillow in just three minutes!
Besides the neck pillow, there's one more item to check: the "Slime Folding Umbrella"! Even a light drizzle will feel better when you open this umbrella. It features a black and blue color scheme with Slime elements designed on the inside. Despite the full pattern, the overall look isn't overly flashy!
▼ A multitude of Slimes smile back at you from the inside!
▼ You might even spot a wandering Metal Slime!
▼ The exterior is plain black, with a small Slime icon printed in the corner.
▼ The translucent blue handle is beautiful, though it's a bit awkward to grip.
