Renowned Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY, in collaboration with CCP Co., Ltd., continues their "Rebuild of Evangelion" series. Following the exquisite UDF EVA New Chapter Begins figure, they are now set to release a large-scale "Lilith Statue"! Priced at 49,500 JPY, the statue is slated for an October 2022 release.
Sculpted by CCP, known for their high-quality statues, this "Lilith Statue" boasts both intricate detailing and an imposing scale. Standing approximately 40 cm tall, it faithfully recreates the white giant seen in the deepest forbidden zone of NERV HQ's Central Dogma, impaled on a cross with the Spear of Longinus piercing its chest. In the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series, Lilith is classified as the Second Angel. The eerie, half-torso sculpt features not only detailed musculature but also gruesome details like nails and stab wounds. The vacant-eyed mask further enhances the overall unsettling atmosphere.
▼ The red cross features realistic cracks, while subtle honeycomb patterns hint at the world of Evangelion.
▼ The base also showcases intricate Tree of Life imagery.
