Japanese high-quality statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio, renowned for its impressive scale and intricate details, will release a new product in its "Ultimate Premium Masterline" series from "Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition": the "Rei Ayanami Entry Plug Interior" 1/4 scale statue. The suggested retail price is 172,590 JPY (Bonus Version), with an estimated release date between August and October 2023. Additionally, the Asuka Entry Plug from the same series will also be released simultaneously!
The Prime 1 Studio "Rei Ayanami Entry Plug Interior" 1/4 scale statue stands at an impressive 64 cm tall. It meticulously recreates the Eva unit's cockpit with Rei Ayanami seated in the pilot's seat, all crafted to an ultra-high standard! Through P1S's painting and sculpting techniques, her soft skin, charming blue short hair, mysterious red eyes, and the glossy white plugsuit adorned with yellow-green accents are all beautifully rendered! The suit tightly embraces her slender figure, showcasing her graceful curves. Her posture, with hands gently placed on her chest and body leaning against the seat, is also full of charm—every angle reveals abundant details!
Furthermore, the Bonus Version, exclusively sold at the Prime 1 Studio online store and EVANGELION STORE in Japan, includes not only her signature emotionless expression but also an additional interchangeable head sculpt featuring the captivating, subtle smile of a goddess! The interior of the entry plug also boasts precise mechanical details, such as the control stick and the deployed HUD (Head-Up Display). The metallic-textured paint finish gives the entire piece a substantial, weighty feel, and the honeycomb-patterned base creates the world view of Evangelion, exuding an impressive presence!
