MECHA SMILE, a Japanese brand, today announced the latest product from its 'MODEROID' assembly model series, the "Tzendolg/Tzendrinble" from "Knight's & Magic", slated for release in December 2022.
The Tzendolg is the first prototype Silhouette Knight in the series to feature a two-person cockpit and a massive centaur design. It utilizes twin pilots to control its complex four-legged movement. Equipped with two Ether Reactors, its power and mobility far surpass standard units. It excels in assault tactics and uses its weight advantage to repel enemy machines. It can also be equipped with movable additional armor for side defense and a Homer wagon for transport. Through continuous development and improvements, this unit evolved into the standardized mass-production model, the "Tzendrinble", which can be piloted by a single person.
The "MODEROID Tzendolg/Tzendrinble" faithfully recreates the cool centaur design with a large total height of 175mm. The kit consists of multi-color molded parts, pre-painted parts, and marking stickers, allowing for a finished product that closely resembles its appearance in the series. Furthermore, it can be assembled into four different specifications: Tzendolg, or Tzendrinble (Kid's unit, Addy's unit, or general unit). Good Smile Company also offers separately sold water-slide decals for advanced modelers (reference price: 1,900 JPY).
For articulation, both the main joints of the upper body and all four legs of the lower body are fully posable. It can be posed with the included two weapons, an axe-lance and a shield, to recreate dynamic assault combat stances.
