BANDAI SPIRITS' BANPRESTO prize figure division in Japan is launching the substantial "MAXIMATIC" series, featuring "MAXIMATIC THE SUKUNA Megumi Fushiguro" based on the popular anime and manga "Jujutsu Kaisen." It will be sold as a prize figure, with an anticipated release in October 2022.
A popular character from Japanese manga artist Gege Akutami's work "Jujutsu Kaisen" (呪術廻戦), Megumi Fushiguro (ふしぐろ めぐみ) is calm, composed, and cautious. He is a classmate of the hot-blooded protagonist Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki at Tokyo Jujutsu High, led by the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer, Satoru Gojo. Possessing the Zenin family bloodline and exceptional talent, he became a Grade 2 Jujutsu Sorcerer in his first year. As a Shadow User, he summons ten Shikigami through shadow puppets mimicking animal forms, a technique known as "Ten Shadows Technique."
The "MAXIMATIC THE SUKUNA Megumi Fushiguro I" prize figure, presented in a cool Superhero Landing pose (just kidding!), stands at 13 cm tall, yet still boasts a substantial presence! It faithfully recreates Megumi Fushiguro's appearance from the anime, including his distinctive black spiky hair and the details of his all-black, high-collared Jujutsu High uniform. For a prize figure, the cool-expressioned head sculpt is excellent. Although he's fully clothed with no muscles exposed, the sculpted lines of his hands convey the series' attention to detail!
