Following the release of the "Cuphead & Mugman 3D Figure Collection" early last year, based on the 2D side-scrolling action video game "Cuphead," Japan's TAKARA TOMY company's toy brand T-ARTS recently announced the latest "Second Wave" product, with Cuphead & Mugman making their return once again~
The shooting game "Cuphead," developed by Studio MDHR, revolves around the brothers Cuphead and Mugman, who lost their souls in a gamble with the Devil. Indebted, they are forced to obey the Devil's commands and embark on a life-or-death "debt collection mission"! This game is known for its retro cartoon-like scenes, old TV static effects, and challenging levels. Despite its incredibly fun and cute visuals, the number of enemy projectiles is astonishing! Players must hone their exquisite dodging skills to defeat bosses and clear stages with very little health.
The biggest highlight of the "Cuphead & Mugman 3D Figure Collection Second Wave" is the introduction of "Evil Cuphead" and "Sleazy Mugman." These designs are based on the game's ending where players choose to rule the world with the Devil. In addition to their eyes turning red with madness and flames erupting from their heads, their colors have also changed to purple and dark blue, respectively. Their wicked smiles perfectly capture the aura of evil after selling their souls! The other three figures include "Cuphead" pulling up his pants and getting ready, the female character "Ms. Chalice" who is set to appear in the upcoming DLC, and a "Cuphead & Mugman" bust-style figure. You can truly collect them all and fully appreciate the unique art style of "CUPHEAD"!
