Japan's veteran model manufacturer Kaiyodo, under its popular "EVANGELION EVOLUTION" series of highly articulated Evangelion figures, which utilize its proprietary Revoltech joint technology to achieve both exquisite sculpting and mobility, will release the latest work from the official spin-off novel "Neon Genesis Evangelion ANIMA", the "EVANGELION EUROII・HEURTEBISE". It will have a suggested retail price of 14,850 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2022!
The official spin-off novel "Neon Genesis Evangelion ANIMA", created by Takuma Kageyama and Ikuto Yamashita, is set in a parallel world three years after the "Human Instrumentality Project" was not activated in the TV anime. It significantly alters the original settings: the NERV organization has been restructured, the surviving Kaji serves as a special investigator for NERV's Special Investigation Department, and 17-year-old Shinji, Asuka, and Rei continue to pilot new EVA units to prevent SEELE's "Human Instrumentality Project" from being reactivated.
The "EVANGELION EVOLUTION EV-024 EVANGELION EUROII・HEURTEBISE" stands approximately 17 cm tall. Like other figures in the series, it is sculpted by Katsuhisa Yamaguchi, meticulously recreating the EVA EUROII, which was rebuilt from the discarded Unit-02. Its more mechanical armor is rendered in a silver-white color, delicately accented with vibrant red. The "Allegorical Wing" flight device on its back, full of symbolic meaning, creates a captivating appearance, as if an angel is descending from the heavens!
Utilizing Revoltech Joints, it achieves high poseability, allowing for a wide range of dynamic stances. The ball joints in the thigh structure enable an extensive range of motion without compromising the figure's proportions. Additionally, accessories include six interchangeable hand gestures, a Lance of Longinus, and a long sword. It can also recreate illustrations from the novel!
