LEGO's newly launched series "LEGO ICONS" unveiled its heavyweight latest product yesterday (7th), the "10303 Loop Coaster"! Scheduled for release on July 1, 2022.
This set contains a total of 3756 pieces, and once assembled, it reaches a height of 92 cm. Although the piece count is less than the previously released "10261 Roller Coaster (4124 pieces)", it utilizes an even more astonishing height to present a track with greatly enhanced thrill, especially the two looping tracks and the nearly vertical drop, which is absolutely incredible! The method of ascending to the highest point is also different from 10261, adopting a vertical ascent similar to a drop tower. In addition to manual play using the interlocking mechanism, you can, of course, also install additional power functions (88013, 88015) to watch this roller coaster come to life on its own! However, we are truly curious about the smoothness of its actual operation.
Beyond the astonishing track, this set also includes many interesting details, such as the gate design, a screen displaying photos, cameras mounted next to the looping track, entrance signs, a park map, and more. There are a total of 11 minifigures, and it comes with mini models of a pretzel cart, a hot dog stand, and a balloon vendor's tricycle – super cute! However, this 92 cm tall, 85 cm long space-hogger will once again test your collection space.
