GOODSMILECOMPANY's Nendoroid series, a lineup of over a thousand articulated figures, will release a new product from the TV anime Attack on Titan The Final Season: "Nendoroid Reiner Braun The Final Season Ver.". It will retail for 5,300 JPY and is scheduled for release in November 2022.
Reiner Braun (ライナー・ブラウン), a pivotal character in Attack on Titan, first appeared alongside protagonist Eren as a member of the 104th Training Corps. His superior physique and leadership skills left an impression of a "reliable big brother." However, his true identity is that of a Warrior born in the Liberio Internment Zone of Marley, the inheritor of the Armored Titan, and dispatched to Eldia as an infiltrator with Bertholdt and Annie. Due to the guilt of breaking the walls, Reiner, disguised as an Eldian soldier within the walls, suffered severe mental distress and developed a dual personality.
The "Nendoroid Reiner Braun The Final Season Ver." stands approximately 10 cm tall and features his appearance as the Marleyan Warrior Unit Vice-Captain from the anime's final season. The chibi design faithfully recreates Reiner's mature, stubbled normal face, his tragic despairing face, and his classic contemplative face (without stubble) from the first three seasons. Paired with the "rifle" accessory, it can recreate the shocking scene from the series where he attempts to take his own life... It also includes a "Let's get married" dialogue plate, depicting him seriously contemplating marrying Krista (Historia), allowing fans to enjoy this rare humorous side of him. Eren is also slated to appear in the next release, so I ask again, where's the chair?
