BANDAI CANDY, the confectionery toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product from its popular confectionery toy series 'Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA': the 'Providence Gundam' from 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED', scheduled for release in November 2022.
The ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam was a mobile suit developed by the Z.A.F.T. military, boasting top-tier performance in C.E. 71. During the Second Battle of Jachin Due, it was piloted by elite commander Rau Le Creuset to engage in a decisive battle against the Earth Alliance. This mobile suit was equipped with a nuclear engine, Neutron Jammer Canceller, DRAGOON System, G.U.N.D.A.M. COMPLEX, PS armor, and other advanced technologies, giving it unparalleled performance for its time. It could perform long-range bombardment with its 'Judicium' Beam Rifle, and its disc-shaped backpack was equipped with 11 'DRAGOON Systems' featuring multiple beam cannons, allowing for omnidirectional attacks thanks to Creuset's superhuman spatial awareness.
The 'G-FRAME FA Providence Gundam' features a highly articulated full-body frame, with its exterior armor parts intricately sculpted with rich panel lines and layered details. The dark gray armor and metallic heat vents on the chest convey the mobile suit's imposing presence. Once the 11 DRAGOON System beam cannons are attached, the mobile suit's silhouette takes on an even more powerful and awe-inspiring form. The base is designed to resemble the muzzle and reflector of the colossal laser weapon 'GENESIS' from the series, evoking memories of the Second Battle of Jachin Due.
Regarding its armaments, it not only includes the considerably large 'Judicium' Beam Rifle, but the Composite Armament Shield System mounted on its left arm can also recreate the deployment of its large beam saber. Each of the 11 DRAGOON System beam cannons across its body features articulated bases, and can be connected to the base using multiple included clear stands, allowing for the recreation of a full launch scene!
