Today, "TAMASHII NATIONS TOKYO," the brand flagship store directly operated by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, announced the latest limited edition product, "METAL BUILD Strike Gundam - Heliopolis Rollout Ver.," scheduled for in-store release starting July 2022.

Supervised by Satoshi Shigeta, the mechanical animation director for "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED," the overall design combines a weapon-like hard texture and silhouette. The exposed metal frame is crafted with alloy parts and two-tone plating, presenting an excellent metallic feel. The entire unit features original high-density details unique to the METAL BUILD series, including two Armor Schneiders, a Beam Rifle, and an Anti-Beam Shield. It can also be equipped with various separately sold "Striker Packs" to recreate diverse forms such as Aile, Launcher, Sword, Lightning, and more.

According to official descriptions, the "METAL BUILD Strike Gundam - Heliopolis Rollout Ver." will feature a newly designed outer box packaging and paint scheme as a limited edition specification. The overall contents are essentially the same as the standalone re-release version from the "METAL BUILD∞" event in 2019. So, what are the actual differences? Simply put, the Strike Gundam's color scheme is similar to the later standalone re-release and METAL BUILD 10th Ver. versions, while the unit markings feature a new design different from previous versions.
