Japan's Phat! Company (株式会社ファット・カンパニー), renowned for its high-quality bishoujo figures, is set to release its latest product, the "VSK-94 Heavy Damage Ver." 1/6 scale figure, based on the popular mobile game Girl's Frontline. The suggested retail price is 28,800 JPY, with an estimated release in December 2023.
Developed by China's Sunborn Network (MICA Team) and published by Darkwinter Software, the mobile game Girl's Frontline is a tactical RPG featuring "gun girls." In the game, firearms from the late 19th century to modern times are anthropomorphized into beautiful female characters. Players take on the role of a commander under a Private Military Contractor (PMC), leading their tactical dolls to maintain world order and stability.
The prototype for VSK-94 is a light sniper rifle produced by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau of the Russian Federation. In the game, she is depicted as a short-haired blonde beauty with blue eyes who once worked at a police station. She possesses a strong sense of justice and is often perceived as unapproachable due to her cool demeanor and habit of acting alone.
The "VSK-94 Heavy Damage Ver." 1/6 scale figure is based on the in-game heavy damage illustration, bringing VSK-94's indomitable spirit in continuing to fight despite severe injuries to three-dimensional life. In her kneeling pose, the figure stands approximately 18 cm tall. Beyond recreating her cool expression during battle, the figure meticulously reproduces her torn and damaged clothing and stockings, revealing her fair and voluptuous skin, creating a truly sensual appearance! It also showcases the intricate details that can only be fully appreciated in a physical model, with the firearm in her hand, handcuffs, and waist-mounted equipment all rendered with impressive precision. The base, featuring a damaged road surface, scattered magazines, and police gear, further enhances the work's worldview.
