The latest product, "ROBOT SPIRITS Char's Custom Rick Dom ver. A.N.I.M.E. ~REAL MARKING~," from the robot-themed action figure series 'ROBOT SPIRITS', released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., was recently announced. This item will be exclusively available at TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO events and for CLUB TAMASHII MEMBERS, with sales commencing on July 26, 2022.
In the novel version of 'Mobile Suit Gundam,' the MS-09R Rick Dom was the Zeon military's next-generation main mobile suit after the Zaku. Char's custom unit not only featured a color scheme befitting the 'Red Comet' but also incorporated a higher-spec generator, making it the Zeon military's first mobile suit capable of stably utilizing beam weapons, equipped with a beam bazooka whose power surpassed that of a beam rifle.
The "ROBOT SPIRITS Char's Custom Rick Dom ver. A.N.I.M.E. ~REAL MARKING~" is an updated version based on the general release from 2016. The entire model features tampo printing to reproduce a wealth of body markings, giving the product a heightened sense of realism. Furthermore, its armor design and body proportions closely match the anime settings, and its highly flexible articulation design are also significant selling points.
Accessories include a Giant Bazooka, Beam Bazooka, Heat Saber, and various interchangeable hand parts. Some weapons and hand specifications differ from the original version, allowing for dynamic and cool battle scenes to be recreated with its flexible articulation and diverse weapon accessories!
