Tsume-Art, the Luxembourgish brand renowned for crafting exquisite Japanese anime character statues with masterful artistry, will release a 1/8 scale diorama statue of "Might Guy" (Gaï Maito) as part of its "High Quality Statues (HQS)" series, based on the classic and popular Japanese anime Naruto: Shippuden. This piece is limited to 1800 units worldwide, with a suggested retail price of 682.91 Euros, and is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2023.
The passionate sensei, Might Guy, whose full name is Might Guy, is not only the fiery man who calls himself "Konoha's Sublime Green Beast" but also a taijutsu ninja acknowledged by Uchiha Madara with the words, "I, Madara, declare you the strongest." He sports a bowl cut, thick eyebrows, large eyes, and a full-body green jumpsuit. His personality is extremely passionate, and due to his lack of proficiency in ninjutsu and genjutsu, he specializes in taijutsu. While he may appear to be a comedic character, he possesses formidable strength; when he opens the Eighth Gate of Death in the Eight Gates Formation, his power even surpasses that of the Five Kage, making him highly active in various missions and battles.
This Tsume-Art "HQS Might Guy" (Gaï Maito) 1/8 scale diorama statue immortalizes the thrilling moment when Guy-sensei, during his battle with Kisame, opens the Seventh Gate of Shock in the Eight Gates Formation while in the ocean, unleashing the advanced taijutsu technique—Hirudora! The statue stands approximately 44 cm tall, with a depth of 52 cm. The ultra-high-speed air pressure punch expands instantly, forming a powerful air cannon resembling a tiger. The tiger's head, with its fanged mouth wide open, features meticulously sculpted fur and sharp eyes, and is further enhanced with internal LED lighting to create a majestic appearance! The neck transitions into surging waves, showcasing an unstoppable force within the blue translucent parts, creating incredibly realistic splashes!
Konoha's Sublime Green Beast's eyes burn with an angry red glow from opening the Eight Gates, his skin takes on a reddish hue, veins bulge on his forehead, and evaporating sweat creates a bluish steam around his body. His bowl-cut hair is swept back by the powerful impact, and the crossed index and middle fingers are meticulously sculpted, perfectly recreating Guy-sensei unleashing his one-hit kill punch!
