Japanese toy manufacturer "AOSHIMA Bunka Kyozai Co., Ltd." (AOSHIMA, アオシマ), renowned for its vehicle models, following the release of "Super Asurada 01", will once again feature the classic racing anime "Future GPX Cyber Formula" as its theme to launch a limited edition "Super Asurada 01 Clear ver." 1/24 scale assembly model kit. The suggested retail price is 7,480 JPY, with an estimated release in October 2022!
The beloved car of "Future GPX Cyber Formula" protagonist Hayato Kazami, the "Super Asurada 01", is the dedicated Cyber Formula chassis developed by his father, Hiroyuki Kazami. It is the first racing car in the series to feature three body transformation systems: "Circuit Mode (Normal Mode)", "Aero Mode", and "Off-Road Mode", enabling it to achieve ultra-high-speed performance. It made its debut at the fifth race, the British GP, and after entering the competition, it propelled Hayato Kazami's points skyward, leading him step by step towards the world championship.
The "AOSHIMA Super Asurada 01 Clear ver." 1/24 scale assembly model kit shares the same basic kit contents as the regular version. The side exhaust fans on the body can be deployed, and details such as the air brakes are faithfully reproduced. However, the exterior parts are molded in transparent blue and transparent red through clear injection, allowing you to view the internal mechanical structure and features of the Asurada, including the engine and metal pipes, after assembly, experiencing a different kind of Super Asurada 01 charm!
