Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY will release the first installment of its amusement park date series, the "Miku Nakano Date Style Ver." figure, based on the popular TV anime "The Quintessential Quintuplets∬", as part of its 1/6 scale figure lineup. The suggested retail price is 18,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in July 2023!
The manga series "The Quintessential Quintuplets" (五等分の花嫁), created by Japanese manga artist Negi Haruba, tells the story of the academically brilliant protagonist, Fuutarou Uesugi, who becomes the tutor for the Nakano quintuplets to pay off his family's debts. The story unfolds with his wedding to one of the sisters, flashing back to recount Fuutarou's journey of getting to know the five sisters, sparking reader discussions about "guessing the bride" and fostering active competition among different fan factions.
The third daughter of the Nakano quintuplets, Miku Nakano, has long hair that covers her eyes and always wears triangular headphones around her neck. She is socially awkward and lacks confidence, but secretly she is a history buff who loves studying Sengoku period warlords. She also possesses keen observational skills and acting ability, often disguising herself as her sisters.
The "Miku Nakano Date Style Ver." 1/6 scale figure is based on an amusement park date scenario, bringing Miku to life in a casual outfit featuring her familiar headphones and a date-appropriate knit dress. Standing approximately 27.5 cm tall, the knit dress meticulously recreates each stitch with 3D sculpting precision. Even with her light blue jacket and fluffy fur, her beautiful figure lines are visible. Notably, the black stockings on her legs not only showcase her curves but are also painted with a subtly sheer texture. Accessories like the ribbon hair ornament and small shoulder bag are also carefully sculpted! Coupled with her charming expression and blushing cheeks, how could one not be captivated by such a date?
▼The amusement park map in her hand is also meticulously recreated!
▼The red brick ground design of the base is also a highlight.
▼Compared to the "Nendoroid Swacchao! Miku Nakano" (total height: approx. 90mm), this figure has a substantial presence!
