PLEX Co., Ltd. of Japan, produced and X-PLUS Co., Ltd. distributed, the popular soft vinyl figure series "DefoReal", which incorporates intricate realistic details into cute chibi proportions, recently announced the latest product, "Monster X", from the movie "Godzilla: Final Wars", expected to be released in November 2022.
Monster X, who served as Godzilla's final enemy in "Godzilla: Final Wars", is a mysterious monster that arrived on Earth with the "Gorath" (Wandering Star Gorath) summoned by the Xiliens. Possessing an exoskeleton-like body and agile movements, it is also capable of firing gravity beams. Its powerful combat abilities repeatedly put Godzilla in peril. Its head features a unique design split into three sections, the reason for which was finally revealed at the end of the film, revealing its true form, "Keizer Ghidorah".
The "DefoReal Monster X" is also produced in a cute 2.5-head-height proportion, but uses an extremely realistic sculpting technique to depict exposed muscle fibers and a skeletal shell design, largely recreating Monster X's extremely ferocious head, and using paintwork to express the skull-like dark gray shell and crimson, menacing eyes.
Furthermore, the limited edition sold at the official store "Shonen RIC" will also include a mini-sized "Xilien" figure as a limited bonus!
