The latest Gunpla RG series product, "RG 1/144 God Gundam," delayed by two months, will finally be released on August 13, 2022. BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan also unveiled the product's box art & prototype images today.

In addition to continuing the series' characteristic high-density details and precisely segmented exterior armor design, the "RG 1/144 God Gundam" this time challenges the largest range of articulation in the series' history, introducing various newly designed joint structures to recreate the human-like agile movements seen in the show, allowing for the posing of various martial arts techniques that combine both strength and beauty.
These include a three-axis movable structure in the neck, telescopic mechanisms in the shoulders and wrists, telescopic and armor-interlocking mechanisms in the knee joints, multi-axis articulation in the waist, and a sliding structure in the hip joints. The new structure of the foot allows for nearly 90-degree bending, maintaining ground contact even during splits.
Furthermore, the claw parts of the gauntlets also feature movable axes to recreate the special move "Bakunetsu God Finger." The back radiator fins are equipped with an original movable structure, which can bend further backward after deployment. When performing special moves, the halo on the back is presented with a gradient effect using three shades of orange parts.
Additionally, Bandai will release in September the "RG 1/144 God Gundam Expansion Parts Set," which includes a wealth of content such as Bakunetsu God Finger effects, Sekiha Tenkyoken effects, high-speed combo effects, a dedicated display stand for the back halo, an effect display base, a clear molded action base, and the HGFC Fuunsaiki, further expanding the playability of the RG God Gundam.
