The 15th theatrical film in the One Piece series, ONE PIECE FILM RED, has been absolutely crushing it at the Japanese box office since its recent release, and breakout character Uta has become a massive fan favorite. At the World Cosplay Summit 2022 in Nagoya, popular cosplayer Risamaru (@risa_smash) totally nailed her Uta cosplay, with her sweet looks perfectly capturing the character and riding the wave of the film's hype to become a major highlight of the event.
Risamaru boasts over 180,000 followers on Twitter, and her talents don't stop at cosplay! She's also a model, DJs at nightclubs, and even manages a character cafe. Talk about a multi-talented queen!
With ONE PIECE FILM RED hitting theaters right around the time of World Cosplay Summit 2022, Risamaru's choice to cosplay Uta was pure genius. Her custom-made costume perfectly captured Uta's vibrant design and signature dual-colored hair, giving off some serious live-action Uta vibes!
And of course, she also rocked Comiket 100, where she transformed into Marin Kitagawa from "My Dress-Up Darling" and Machi from "Hunter x Hunter"'s Phantom Troupe. With Risamaru's stunning looks and pro-level costumes, the accuracy was absolutely spot-on!
