Japan's official "Mobile Suit Gundam" Gunpla flagship store, GUNDAM BASE, recently announced that the latest limited-edition product from "SD Gundam World Heroes," the "SDW HEROES Clear Color Set II," will be available for sale in stores starting August 27, 2022.
This set includes two clear color versions: "SDW HEROES Arthur Gundam Mk-III" and "SDW HEROES Caesar Legend Gundam." All parts, including silver, blue, black, gold, white, red, etc., have been replaced with clear molded parts. This makes them more striking than the original, somewhat dull metallic colors. It also allows for custom painting to adjust transparent areas, or facilitates special modification techniques like adding lighting or glow-in-the-dark paint, presenting a different style from regular Gunpla.
The "SDW HEROES Arthur Gundam Mk-III [Clear Color]" kit faithfully recreates the intricate sculpted details on its magnificent knight armor. It also includes a set of clear blue parts for its enhanced armor and the greatsword "Excalibur," allowing it to transform into its enhanced form and recreate its powerful special move pose from the series.
The "SDW HEROES Caesar Legend Gundam [Clear Color]" faithfully recreates its majestic and powerful armor design from the series, with its cape made from clear red parts. In addition to its longsword, it can also recreate its enhanced form when equipped with its mask, and its backpack, made from clear red parts, can transform into a lion's pose.
