Following the release of Nezuko, GOODSMILECOMPANY's "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand types of movable figure products, is set to release a new "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" product: "Nendoroid Nezuko Kamado (Demon Form Advancing Ver.)". It will have a suggested retail price of 6,500 JPY and is scheduled for release in January 2023.
The popular character Nezuko Kamado from "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is the younger sister of protagonist Tanjiro. She possesses a kind heart and is recognized as a beautiful girl in the village. Despite being a younger sister, Nezuko has a very mature mindset and, like her brother, is willing to go to great lengths to protect her family. In the story, the Kamado family was massacred by man-eating demons, and Nezuko, who survived, transformed into a demon after her wounds were contaminated with Muzan Kibutsuji's blood. She retains her human consciousness and gains immense strength and the ability to change her body size, allowing her to "demonize" to protect her brother in times of crisis.
The "Nendoroid Nezuko Kamado (Demon Form Advancing Ver.)" is based on her appearance in the TV anime's Entertainment District Arc, adorably bringing to life Nezuko's intensified demon form, complete with demon horns on her head and willow-like patterns emerging all over her body!
It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a "standard face" with an approaching demonic aura, an "attacking face" with bared fangs, and a "frenzied face" with an incredibly wild smile. These can be combined with "Blood Demon Art effect parts" and "kicking leg parts" to recreate intense life-or-death battles against Upper Rank Demons!
