GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan is releasing the first product in their popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different figures, based on the new anime series Lycoris Recoil: "Nendoroid Chisato Nishikigi"! The suggested retail price is 5,900 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in March 2023.
The original Japanese TV anime Lycoris Recoil (リコリス・リコイル), produced by A-1 Pictures, tells a story set ten years after the "Radio Tower Incident," a terrorist attack on the Tokyo Radio Tower. Japan's public safety has long been ranked first in the world, but behind this facade, a secret organization called "DA" (Direct Attack) covertly employs a group of young female agents known as "Lycoris" to maintain superficial peace. These highly trained girls blend into the city in their school uniforms, responsible for handling and concealing crimes.
Chisato Nishikigi, known as the "strongest Lycoris of all time," is an agent who adheres to pacifism and non-lethal principles. She usually works as a waitress at the Japanese-style cafe LycoReco in the Tokyo suburbs, possessing an extremely optimistic and lively personality, always wearing a smile.
The "Nendoroid Chisato Nishikigi" stands approximately 10 cm tall, cutely recreating the already super adorable Chisato! Dressed in her urban camouflage—her school uniform—even in Q-version, her full figure is well-represented. It comes with three interchangeable expression parts: a cheerful "normal face," a bright and energetic "smiling face," and a focused "serious face" for combat. Accessories include "Lycoris's school bag," a "smartphone," Chisato's beloved "handgun," and dedicated posing arms. In addition to recreating her shooting poses from the series, the classic butt kick from the opening theme can also be reproduced! The "Nendoroid Takina Inoue," designed to be displayed alongside, will be making its appearance soon.
