FuRyu's popular prize figure series "Noodle Stopper Figure" (ぬーどるストッパーフィギュア) will release a "Kenshiro" Noodle Stopper Figure based on the classic fighting manga "Fist of the North Star." It will be sold as a prize item and is scheduled for release in Spring 2023.
Even those unfamiliar with the original work will have heard of the classic Japanese fighting manga "Fist of the North Star." The manga began serialization in 1983, with Buronson as the writer and Tetsuo Hara as the artist. Currently, the series has accumulated over 100 million copies in circulation worldwide and has been adapted into anime and video games. The story is set in a future where human civilization has been destroyed by nuclear war, and the surviving humans live in a dog-eat-dog world, until the appearance of Kenshiro, the 64th successor to the ancient Chinese mysterious assassination art of Hokuto Shinken, who bears seven scars on his chest.
The FuRyu "Kenshiro" Noodle Stopper Figure stands approximately 15 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Kenshiro's large muscles, chest scars, and costume design. It depicts him in a fierce pose, sitting cross-legged and holding nunchaku. Sitting atop your instant noodles, he points a finger at you, his sharp gaze seemingly saying: "You fatso, still want to eat?" (X)
