Released by BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division of Japan, the 『Figure-rise Standard Amplified』 series, which enhances character designs and the dynamic expression of model kits, today announced the latest product from 《Yu-Gi-Oh!》, the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", scheduled for release in March 2023.
The Light Attribute Dragon-Type monster card, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, with 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF, shares a destiny with Seto Kaiba that transcends past and present lives, and can unleash its signature move, "Burst Stream of Destruction". It also has various Fusion forms and subspecies cards such as "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon", "Dragon Master Knight", "Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon", "Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon", and more. It is Seto Kaiba's iconic card, and President Kaiba's 'wife'. In the original story, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon was an overwhelmingly powerful and ultra-rare card, with only four copies in existence. Three were in Kaiba's possession, and the remaining one was displayed in Sugoroku Muto's card shop, later torn up by Kaiba.
The "Figure-rise Standard Amplified Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is further amplified based on the original design, featuring a fierce head sculpt with intricate mouth details, sharp carapaces across its body, and delicate muscle lines. The parts are molded in metallic blue, and its massive wings, spanning approximately 26.5 cm, are made from a special material, utilizing soft material with gradient painting to express the thin, translucent texture of the wing membranes.
Furthermore, its articulation design is highly flexible. In addition to widely used ball joints, its slender neck and tail incorporate metal wires as joints, allowing for more natural swaying poses. Articulated mechanisms are also installed in each joint of its limbs and wings, enabling dynamic and cool action poses.
