Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY will release the "Makise Kurisu ~Reading Steiner~" 1/7 scale figure, based on the theme of "Steins;Gate", with a suggested retail price of 35,800 JPY, scheduled for release in October 2023!
The heroine "Makise Kurisu" (Makise Kurisu), who appears in the fictional science ADV game "Steins;Gate" series, is a genius girl who graduated from Viktor Chondria University in the United States at the age of 18 by skipping grades, and then entered Columbia University's Brain Science Institute. On the surface, she has a serious, calm, and theory-driven personality, often displaying an aloof and arrogant attitude during research. However, deep down, she is a curious girl who loves experiments, and was given nicknames like "Christina" and "Assistant" by the chuunibyou-ridden Okabe.
The GSC "Makise Kurisu ~Reading Steiner~" 1/7 scale figure is based on an illustration by character designer "huke". Standing approximately 235 mm tall, it faithfully recreates the complex background of stacked CRT vintage computers and futuristic devices, as well as Christina covering one eye with a fearless smile! Her slender physique leaning against the powerfully imposing machinery, the sensation of skin showing through her pantyhose, and the pose of her right hand grasping her bangs are all highlights.
▼Illustration faithfully reproduced!
Mechanical details such as the vintage keyboard, monitor, and vacuum tubes are meticulously rendered, and a yellowed, aged, and dirty paint application is applied! The data cables, plugs, and 3.5-inch floppy disks scattered on the floor convey the atmosphere and sense of age of a laboratory!
