Japan's Bandai company's GASHAPON capsule toy brand's luxurious new series "Creature Encyclopedia Ultimate" will release the highly anticipated "Crab" capsule toys, scheduled for October 2022. There will be four types, with a reference price of 1,000 JPY per capsule.
"Creature Encyclopedia Ultimate (Ikimono Dai Zukan Advance)", which boasts top-tier size, sculpting, and articulation design, features more realistic details and exquisite paintwork compared to "Creature Encyclopedia" products. Following the "GASHAPON Crab Capsule Toy", this time again focusing on crabs, the "Creature Encyclopedia Ultimate Crab" uses 3D technology to realistically reproduce the crab's body structure with articulation, including the carapace shape, the complex joints of the crab legs, the serrated claws... and other delicate biological structures. The leg parts alone are divided into 50 different components! The paintwork is also applied with a lustrous, glossy finish, perfectly recreating their appearance on the seashore.
Included are: the Wine-colored Fan Crab, with eyes resembling Kabuki kumadori makeup; the Liver-leafed Moon Crab, whose body is covered in stone-like granules; the Red-clawed Marsh Crab (True Color Ver.); and the Serrated Swimming Crab. The distinctive patterns on each are vividly reproduced, and through articulated joints and internal mechanisms, the entire body features nearly 30 points of articulation, including an eye design that can freely retract into a groove to protect the eyeballs. This ultra-realistic recreation allows for extremely dynamic poses such as crabs preying, extending their claws, or curling up!
