"Anraku Ansaku," a sculptor beloved by many passionate kaiju and sofubi fans and hailed as a genius, has released the latest work in the "Godzilla Series (ゴジラシリーズ)," a "Godzilla (2001)" sofubi from "Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack"! It is scheduled for lottery sale on the MEDICOM TOY Japan official website from October 24 to November 10, 2022, with shipments beginning in January 2023.
Japanese designer brand "Anraku Ansaku," which reinterprets classic tokusatsu monsters with its strong unique style, creates kaiju sofubi with a charm distinct from older brands like Bullmark (ブルマァク), M1-Go, and Marmit. This Godzilla sofubi, based on the 2001 version, stands at 26 cm tall. It perfectly recreates the fierce white eyes and muscular thighs that live up to its "White-Eyed God of Destruction" moniker. However, the overall proportion adopts a slightly low-head-to-body, cute ratio, presenting a powerful yet somewhat plump and adorable visual effect! The rough textures on the body surface and the protruding dorsal fin structures are also meticulously sculpted. This is highly recommended for all Godzilla fans.
