MAX FACTORY, a Japanese toy company (株式会社マックスファクトリー), is launching the first release in its popular "figma" action figure series based on the hit anime "Chainsaw Man": "figma Denji"!
"Chainsaw Man," a dark shonen manga created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, tells the story of a world overrun by "devils." The extremely impoverished protagonist, Denji, becomes a devil hunter to pay off his deceased father's enormous debt, working with the Chainsaw Devil "Pochita" to hunt devils. In an accident, Pochita sacrifices himself, forming a contract with Denji's heart, allowing Denji to resurrect and gain the ability to transform into a Chainsaw Devil. This catches the attention of the government's "Public Safety Devil Hunters Special Division."
The "figma Denji" action figure has officially been announced for production. It faithfully recreates Denji in his uniform, with a head sculpt featuring the incredibly wild chainsaw transformation of "Chainsaw Man"! However, are the chainsaw blades on his hands a bit too clean?
