The new everyday-life bishojo plastic model kit series 'Sousai Shojo Teien', a collaboration between Japan's Kotobukiya Co., Ltd. and illustrator Morikura En, recently announced its latest product, "Ritsuka Saeki [St. Iris Girls' Academy High School - Winter Uniform]," and will simultaneously release a limited edition version, "Ritsuka Saeki [Winter Uniform] Dreaming Style Snow White," which will only be sold at the official KOTOBUKIYA SHOP. It is scheduled for release in May 2023.
"Sousai Shojo Teien Ritsuka Saeki [St. Iris Girls' Academy High School - Winter Uniform]" is based on the previously released summer uniform body, and uses new parts to recreate the elegant, refined winter uniform style. The golden buttons on the waist and the white lines on the skirt hem are pre-painted. For the legs, there are two interchangeable styles: "pantyhose" and "over-the-knee socks." It also includes dedicated thigh parts for sitting poses, skirt parts for sitting poses, bare feet (after removing shoes), a mobile phone, a backpack, and other parts, allowing for a wider variety of poses and scenes!
Furthermore, the accessories include a large number of interchangeable parts, allowing for a wide range of variations for Ritsuka Saeki's appearance. Hair parts include classic long hair, long ponytail, twin braids, and a completely new bun hairstyle. The front hair parts can be replaced with glasses-compatible front hair, for use with the separately sold "AFTER SCHOOL Glasses Set." Expression parts include 8 types in total, both pre-painted and unpainted: "smiling face," "staring face," "blushing face," and "crying face." You can use the included water decals to apply to the unpainted expressions. Additionally, there are a total of 13 interchangeable hand parts, with 6 completely new designs added in addition to the 7 from the summer uniform version!
The product content is essentially the same as the regular version, but different part molding colors create a distinct atmosphere and clothing style, transforming Ritsuka Saeki into an elegant black-haired bishojo. The uniform colors are also changed to match the hair color, featuring a white top and indigo skirt to present a new image. Furthermore, the limited edition includes an additional B2 size background sheet featuring the bright and spacious "Recreation Room" from the official images, which can be used with other 'Sousai Shojo Teien' series products to set up scenes and enjoy photography!
