Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY, known for its popular "Nendoroid" series with over a thousand products, following the release of the first Tokyo Manji Gang characters "Mikey (Manjiro Sano)" and "Draken (Ken Ryuguji)" from the popular anime "Tokyo Revengers," is now set to release the latest "Nendoroid Keisuke Baji"! The suggested retail price is 5,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in May 2023.
The passionate manga "Tokyo Revengers" (東京卍リベンジャーズ) by Japanese manga artist Ken Wakui was adapted into an anime in 2021. The protagonist, Takemichi Hanagaki, is a part-timer who has achieved nothing. After learning that his first love, Hinata Tachibana, died due to being caught in a conflict involving the Kanto's most notorious gang, the "Tokyo Manji Gang (Toman)," he himself travels back 12 years to his middle school days after an accident. To save his girlfriend and change his escapist self, Takemichi befriends the leader of the biker gang, Manjiro Sano, and his second-in-command, Ken Ryuguji, embarking on a story of revenge.
The captain of the First Division, Keisuke Baji, is one of Toman's founders and a childhood friend of the leader, Manjiro. Although initially giving the impression of being violent and cold-blooded, he actually desires to form a "team where everyone would lay down their lives for each other" and is a passionate, loyal youth willing to sacrifice his life for his comrades. He became Chifuyu's most admired man after helping him when he was ambushed.
The "Nendoroid Keisuke Baji" stands approximately 10 cm tall. Its chibi design faithfully recreates his signature black Tokkofuku uniform from the series, with the "First Division Captain" and "Tenjo Tenge Yuiga Dokuson" (I alone am the honored one in heaven and on earth) inscriptions on his arms and chest meticulously reproduced with gold paint! His characteristic long hair retains its coolness even in the adorable proportion. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a confident "standard face," a "combat face" showing his fangs, and a charming "smiling face." Accessories include his important "charm," his favorite "Japanese instant yakisoba," and a "biology textbook"! Additionally, hair parts to recreate his tied-up hair style are included, allowing you to enjoy Baji-san in various poses~
