The classic Japanese horror film "Ring," adapted from Koji Suzuki's novel of the same name and directed by Hideo Nakata, tells the story of a rumor circulating among middle school students: anyone who watches a mysterious cursed videotape will receive a phone call with an eerie ringtone and die mysteriously within seven days....
