Japanese model manufacturer Good Smile Company recently announced the latest product from their new series 'ACT MODE', which combines articulated finished figures with model kit parts, featuring "Kirika Akatsuki" from Symphogear GX, scheduled for release in June 2023.
ACT MODE = ACTION FIGURE + MODEROID. 'ACT MODE' combines GSC's accumulated expertise in articulated figures and model kits, featuring a pre-painted, articulated figure body paired with weapons and accessories in model kit specifications. This offers both the immediate playability of a finished articulated figure and the enjoyable advantages of a model kit.
The latest ACT MODE Symphogear release features the cheerful and innocent Symphogear user, Kirika Akatsuki. The figure meticulously recreates her transformed outfit, utilizing soft material parts for flexible articulation. It includes three interchangeable face plates. Armor parts on the head, shoulders, and other areas are made from hard material. Accessories also include her signature enormous verdant scythe, which boasts an impressive size comparable to the figure itself. The display base is assembled according to model kit specifications.
Furthermore, GSC will also release the "ACT MODE Symphogear GX Maria / Kirika / Shirabe Armament Set" to expand the weapon accessories. This set includes blade parts for Kirika Akatsuki's "切‧茱麗葉" (Igalima), allowing for even more diverse poses.
