Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE today officially announced the latest product from their new mid-to-low-priced small-scale monster figure series 'MONSTERS CHRONICLE', the "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" from "Yu-Gi-Oh!", scheduled for release in June 2023.
The 'MONSTERS CHRONICLE' series is a brand new line of finished monster figures priced under 10,000 Japanese Yen. The scale is significantly smaller compared to the high-end 'ART WORKS MONSTERS' series, with each product standing approximately 15 cm or less in height. They still feature powerful poses and bases that showcase the monsters' charm, making them relatively suitable for collectors with limited display space or lower budgets. However, the overall richness of detail and sharpness are noticeably inferior to the ART WORKS MONSTERS series.
The "MONSTERS CHRONICLE Red-Eyes Black Dragon" stands approximately 14 cm tall. It is supported by a flame-like effect base, presenting a powerful pose. The sculpt meticulously captures its angular body and ferocious head with a mouth full of sharp teeth. The entire body is rendered in a jet-black color scheme through paint application, making it incredibly cool. The series will also release more monsters from the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" series in the future, perfect for collecting like a three-dimensional encyclopedia.
