Following the release of Qpmini Gourai, Kotobukiya, the popular Japanese model manufacturer, officially announced today the second product in its new Qpmini sub-series for the popular "Frame Arms Girl" mecha musume model kits: "Stiletto," scheduled for release in May 2023.
The new "Qpmini" series features model kits with a cute, approximately 2.5-head-tall chibi proportion. The name inherits from Kotobukiya's long-discontinued "Cu-poche" action figure series, but the entire body uses a newly designed base, and the size has been significantly miniaturized. Compared to standard Frame Arms Girl products, which are about 15 cm tall, Qpmini figures are only about 6.5 cm tall. However, the overall detail density is the same as regular Frame Arms Girl products, and they boast approximately 20 points of articulation, allowing for a variety of poses.
The highly popular twin-tailed mecha musume, Stiletto, also transforms into an adorable low-proportion model! The kit is based on modified design data from the standard FAG version, incorporating high-density detailed sculpting into a petite body approximately 8 cm tall. It perfectly recreates Stiletto's flight armor in SD proportion and features as many as 24 points of articulation. Accessories include armaments such as a Gatling gun and missiles, as well as various interchangeable hand parts.
For expression parts, there are two pre-printed expressions: "front-facing normal face" and "front-facing shouting face," along with two unprinted expression parts that can be customized using the included water decals. These specifications are also the same as standard FAG products, allowing for interchangeability with expression parts from separately sold Frame Arms Girls. Additionally, the accessories include a 2mm hole to 3mm peg adapter part, which can be used to swap armaments with 3mm standard weapon parts from other Kotobukiya model kits!
