Following the release of "Chisato Nishikigi," the first Nendoroid from the popular anime Lycoris Recoil, GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan is now launching the second product in its Nendoroid series, which boasts over a thousand popular items: "Nendoroid Takina Inoue"! The suggested retail price is 5,900 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in June 2023.
The Japanese original TV anime "Lycoris Recoil (リコリス・リコイル)," produced by A-1 Pictures, is set ten years after the "Radio Tower Incident," a terrorist attack on the Tokyo Radio Tower. Japan's public safety has long been ranked first in the world, but behind this facade, a secret organization called "DA" (Direct Attack) covertly employs a group of young female agents known as "Lycoris" to maintain superficial peace. These highly trained girls, disguised in school uniforms, operate in the city, handling and concealing crimes.
The calm and efficient killing machine, Takina Inoue, was initially a Lycoris agent who mercilessly shot enemies and disregarded the safety of teammates and hostages. Due to a mission oversight, she was transferred to work with Chisato at the Japanese-style café LycoReco, with her sole desire being to return to DA. Her attitude and thoughts gradually began to change after meeting Chisato.
The "Nendoroid Takina Inoue" stands approximately 10 cm tall, adorably recreating the cool and beautiful Takina in her school uniform~ Interchangeable face plates include a calm "standard face," a focused "serious face" for aiming, and an open-hearted "smiling face." Accessories include her "Lycoris school bag," Takina's beloved "pistol (with/without silencer, two types in total)," the "KRISS Vector submachine gun" used to protect the Lycoris squad, and dedicated arm parts. In addition to recreating cool shooting poses from the series, there are also interchangeable leg parts to recreate the classic butt-kick from the opening theme!
