Japan's BANDAI Namco Toys & Hobby's popular S.H.Figuarts series will release its latest product, the "S.H.Figuarts Pan SUPER HERO" action figure, based on the theatrical film 《Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero》. The suggested retail price is 5,720 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in May 2023.
The 21st theatrical film in the Dragon Ball series, 《Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero》, is the second animated film in the 《Dragon Ball Super》 series. Original creator Akira Toriyama was responsible for the screenplay and participated in details including the story, character designs, and dialogue. One of the biggest features this time is the use of CG effects to present the visuals, offering fans and audiences a comprehensive viewing experience.
In the film, Pan, who is only 3 years old, trains with Piccolo, her father Gohan's master (and father figure), due to her parents' busy careers. With an extremely strong competitive spirit, Pan diligently trains to learn the Bukujutsu (Flying Technique). To thwart the Red Ribbon Army's plot, she fakes her own kidnapping; and during Gohan's battle, she pretends to cry out in pain to stimulate Gohan's potential. She is very obedient and sensible.
The "S.H.Figuarts Pan SUPER HERO" action figure stands approximately 9 cm tall, faithfully recreating Pan's adorable training outfit from the film. With her small bowl cut hairstyle and arm protectors, and by pairing her with the included water bottle accessory, you can recreate scenes of her training with Piccolo. Additionally, it includes four interchangeable facial expressions: a serious standard face, a glaring battle face, a shouting face, and a super cute innocent smiling face. Furthermore, it comes with an interchangeable flowing hair part, and a post-battle smiling face part for use with the separately sold S.H.Figuarts Ultimate Gohan SUPER HERO.
