Following the release of main characters like "Yuji Itadori" and "Satoru Gojo" from the popular anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" by BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division "TAMASHII NATIONS" under their popular S.H.Figuarts action figure series, the latest product, "S.H.Figuarts Sukuna," is set to debut! The suggested retail price is 7,700 JPY, with an anticipated release in April 2023!
"Ryomen Sukuna" is an extraordinary being with two faces and four elbows, recorded in the "Nihon Shoki" as appearing in the Hida region. In present-day Gifu Prefecture, he is even rumored to be an incarnation of the Bodhisattva Kannon, with temples dedicated to statues of Ryomen Sukuna. In "Jujutsu Kaisen," Ryomen Sukuna is depicted as the King of Curses among Special Grade Cursed Objects, possessing overwhelming power. After his death, his twenty fingers were severed and sealed, scattered across Japan. Even after a thousand years, his mummified remains still possess immense cursed energy. His nature is cruel and he delights in slaughter. After Yuji Itadori swallowed his fingers, Sukuna became parasitic within Itadori's body.
The "S.H.Figuarts Sukuna" action figure, standing approximately 150 mm tall, faithfully recreates Sukuna's imposing appearance when he takes control of Yuji Itadori's body! His signature spiky hair stands up, facial markings appear, and his four eyes open, revealing his incredibly muscular upper body. It comes with a normal face with a dignified smile, a "sinister grin" face for plotting mischief, a "serious face" for unleashing techniques, and a "maniacal laugh" face for combat. With S.H.Figuarts' excellent articulation design, various exciting action scenes from the series can be recreated! Additionally, it includes an interchangeable face part for Yuji Itadori, showing Sukuna's mouth appearing on his face.
