Following Thor and Mighty Thor, Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys recently unveiled its latest product from "Thor: Love and Thunder," featuring the villain known as the God Butcher, "Gorr," as a 1/6th scale collectible figure! It is expected to ship in Q1-Q2 2024.
In "Love and Thunder," Gorr was originally a devout worshipper of the gods until he lost his daughter and discovered that gods truly exist, but they show no mercy to suffering humans, leaving them to fend for themselves. Enraged, Gorr wielded the Necrosword and swore that all gods would die, becoming the God Butcher. This figure perfectly recreates Gorr's terrifying appearance after being chosen by the Necrosword, with his entire body turned pale and covered in purplish-red scars. The linen white robe also features weathering and a tattered hem. The head sculpt meticulously captures the likeness and on-screen presence of actor "Christian Bale," and is equipped with rolling eyeballs, while the yellowish teeth are also incredibly realistic.
Accessories include a necklace, the Necrosword, a battle-damaged Necrosword, Thor's axe Stormbreaker (with LED light-up function), multiple interchangeable hands, and a "Thor: Love and Thunder" themed base. Paired with other character figures, you can recreate Gorr's chilling battle poses!
