BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collector's toy division in Japan has officially announced the commercialization of "Silence Suzuka" from the popular series "Uma Musume Pretty Derby" within their popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts". The full product details will be revealed on January 11th.
One of the main characters active in the first season of the anime, Silence Suzuka is a quiet Uma Musume who exudes a mysterious, transparent aura. She is always fully focused, dedicating her time to her beloved racing, and is not adept at interacting with others. Her running speed is astonishing, and she excels at maintaining a lead throughout the race; the view from the very front belongs only to her, and she will not yield it to anyone. Her prototype comes from the racehorse of the same name, active between 1997 and 1998. Although she achieved six consecutive wins in 1998 and was regarded as a rising star, her body gradually became unable to bear the strain. Ultimately, she suffered a comminuted fracture of her left leg in the Tenno Sho (Autumn) race that same year and was euthanized on the same day due to an incurable condition. While the Silence Suzuka in the anime also suffered a fracture, fortunately, this kind world allowed her to miraculously recover and even compete in races in the United States.
The "S.H.Figuarts Silence Suzuka" continues the design style of the previous three products, faithfully reproducing her racing uniform appearance from the anime and game. Standing approximately 13 cm tall, she features flexible articulation. As expected, the accessory content will remain quite basic, including only several interchangeable expression parts, sculpted hand parts, and a display stand, allowing collectors to recreate her leading the pack, galloping ahead, or performing lively songs and dances on stage.
