Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS' collector toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, will release the first wave of its popular new Figuarts articulated figure series, "Figuarts mini", featuring characters from the super popular anime "Chainsaw Man": "Figuarts mini Chainsaw Man, Aki Hayakawa, and Himeno" – three characters in total. Each will have a suggested retail price of 2,970 JPY and is scheduled for release in May 2023.
The "Figuarts mini" series features articulated joints in the head, hands, shoulders, and feet, and comes with interchangeable hand parts, as well as a dedicated display stand to enhance poseability. The overall design is a chibi (Q-version) style with approximately 2.5 head proportions, and each figure measures about 9cm. The eyes are crafted using the "Glittering EYE" technique, making them vivid, bright, and lively.
The "Figuarts mini Chainsaw Man, Aki Hayakawa, and Himeno" figures released this time faithfully recreate their anime appearances. This includes Chainsaw Man's wild scene exclaiming, "The perpetual motion machine is complete! The Nobel Prize is mine~!", Aki Hayakawa's "Kon" gesture for summoning the Fox Devil, and Himeno-senpai's iconic cigarette-in-hand look. All these designs are presented in a chibi style, and with simple articulation and interchangeable hand parts, you can adorably recreate scenes from the series~
