RE-MENT, the Japanese manufacturer of collectible miniature toys, has once again announced the latest product in its popular blind box series, 'Puchi Sample,' which transforms various themed scenes, furniture, and small items into miniature models. The new product, "The Astronomer's Mysterious Laboratory," is scheduled for release on January 23, 2023.
The Puchi Sample Series (ぷちサンプルシリーズ) is a collection that transforms various daily necessities seen in human society, from ancient times to the present, into miniature models less than 5 cm in size, featuring exquisite shapes and colors reminiscent of food samples. Each product includes dozens of delicate scenes, furniture, and small items, allowing you to easily create charming miniature dioramas in a corner of your life.
This latest release, themed The Astronomer's Mysterious Laboratory, doesn't portray the modern image of a scientist using precise observational instruments. Instead, it evokes the mysterious aura of ancient times when many enigmas remained unsolved and were even associated with magic. The product includes a wealth of miniature models, such as antique telescopes, orreries, star charts, and other astronomical observation tools, along with various books, research reports, corresponding furniture, and even a pet dog, allowing one to immerse themselves in the romance of astronomical research and stargazing!
