Following its highly successful launch in April 2022, the immensely popular 'Ichiban Kuji' brand, known for its guaranteed-win lottery prizes from Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, is once again announcing a new revised edition: 'SPY×FAMILY -Mission Start!- Ver.1.5', scheduled for release in mid-May 2023.
Last year, this Ichiban Kuji, themed around the anime 'SPY×FAMILY', incorporated the character designs of the Forger family into a wide array of merchandise. This included plush toys, art boards, mini shikishi, keychains, and other exciting prizes featuring the three characters: Loid, Yor, and Anya. Among these, the most coveted prize was undoubtedly the A Prize Anya Perpetual Calendar Figure, which not only brought to life in 3D the adorable scene of Anya playing with Mr. Chimera but also featured blocks printed with dates and months for use as a desk calendar!
The new version, 'SPY×FAMILY -Mission Start!- Ver.1.5', set to launch this year, naturally retains the highly popular A Prize Anya and the LASTONE Prize Anya (Alternate Color Ver.). Prizes B, C, D, G, and I have been replaced with either previously released SPY×FAMILY Ichiban Kuji items or entirely new ones.
