Chinese Ancient Swords and European Longswords All Included! Kotobukiya M.S.G Weapon Parts New Series 'VirtuouStyle Sword Set' Expected to Release in July

Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA), a Japanese toy company, recently officially announced the first wave of products for its new sub-series 'VirtuouStyle' (tentative translation) within the incredibly diverse line of assembly model customization parts 'M.S.G'. These products, 'Sword Set A' and 'Sword Set B', are slated for release in July 2023.

The 'VirtuouStyle' series boasts two major distinguishing features compared to previously released standard M.S.G weapon parts. Firstly, the parts utilize a greater variety of molded colors, enhancing the completeness of the model even in its unpainted, assembled state, making it more visually striking than the previous single gray molding. Secondly, the main product lineup will feature lighter-weight armaments compared to standard M.S.G weapon parts, making them ideal for use with approximately 14-15 cm tall Bishoujo (beautiful girl) assembly model products such as Sousai Shojo Teien, Frame Arms Girl, Megami Device, and Arcanadea.

The sword-themed "VirtuouStyle 01 Sword Set A" is composed of red, gold, and silver molded parts, allowing for the assembly of a longsword, a hybrid sword, and their respective scabbards. The "VirtuouStyle 02 Sword Set B" is similarly composed of red, gold, and silver molded parts, enabling the assembly of a rapier, an ancient Chinese sword, and their scabbards. Both products include identical hanging parts and a hard PVC belt, allowing them to be equipped with Kotobukiya's Bishoujo assembly models for a wider variety of display scenarios.
