Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's immensely popular "Ichiban Kuji" brand, where every draw wins a prize, recently announced the latest product themed around the King of the Monsters, Godzilla: "Godzilla: Great Monster Lineup", scheduled for release on June 24, 2023.
The "Ichiban Kuji Godzilla: Great Monster Lineup" will feature a variety of prizes, starting with Toho's popular special effects monster Godzilla, including soft vinyl figures, acrylic standees, gauze towels, movie title LOGO display plates, art illustrations, and head magnets, all incorporating elements of Godzilla and other monsters from the series.
Among them, the Grand Prize A, "Yuji Sakai's Superb Sculpt Collection SOFVICS Burning Godzilla Hong Kong Landing ver.", is sculpted and painted by Japan's foremost Godzilla sculptor, Yuji Sakai. It meticulously recreates the previously released "30cm Godzilla 1995 Hong Kong Landing" prototype using high-precision 3D scanning, transforming it into a 22 cm tall soft vinyl figure. This piece perfectly captures the ferocious image of Godzilla rampaging upon landing in Hong Kong at the beginning of the film Godzilla vs. Destoroyah!
