Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA), a Japanese toy company, has announced the latest product in its incredibly diverse line of model kit customization parts, 'M.S.G,' the "Heavy Weapon Unit 35 Orbit Circle," scheduled for release in July 2023.
The design concept behind the "Heavy Weapon Unit 35 Orbit Circle" is a multi-functional flight unit that can be remotely controlled by its wielder. It consists of a transparent, circular digital ring unit connecting four multi-functional flight units. Each multi-functional flight unit is composed of a surface shield and internal mechanical parts, with transparent molded wing-like parts on both sides that can be deployed. These can be attached to various positions on the digital ring unit, allowing for free shape transformation, and the size can be infinitely expanded by combining multiple kits.
This kit utilizes a common 3mm joint standard, making it compatible with Bishoujo model kits such as Frame Arms Girl and Megami Device, where it can be used as a flight unit mounted on the back or encircling the body. When paired with larger robot model kits like Frame Arms or Hexa Gear, it can also function as a shield or thruster.
