The popular action figure series 『figma』, released by Japan's Max Factory company, today officially announced that the series' first-ever product to ثلاث-dimensionalize a voice actor's image, 「figma Sumire Uesaka」, is scheduled for release in October 2023.
Sumire Uesaka, who officially debuted as a voice actor in 2011, is a highly popular idol-type voice actor with both acting and singing prowess. She has not only starred as the main character, Lum, in the new version of 《Urusei Yatsura》 and many other Japanese anime and games, but since her debut as a singer in 2013, she has also released 13 singles and 5 albums, and performed theme songs for various anime, including 《POP TEAM EPIC》. Furthermore, Sumire Uesaka has a considerable depth of research into Russia and the Soviet Union, and graduated from Sophia University with a degree in Russian. Her fluent Russian when portraying Nonna in 《Girls und Panzer》 received significant acclaim.
「figma Sumire Uesaka」, including its prototype and coloring, was thoroughly supervised by Sumire Uesaka herself. Her entire body was 3D scanned to create the model, and combined with figma's original flexible yet sturdy joint parts, it is designed as an action figure. It meticulously recreates the concert costume she wore during the 「SUMIRE UESAKA LIVE TOUR 2022 Chou・Kakumei Densetsu」. Both interchangeable face parts utilize 3D coloring technology to express more realistic three-dimensional facial features. Accessories include a 「microphone」, 「flag」, 「script」, and 「wine bottle」, allowing for the recreation of exciting concert scenes.
