To celebrate Disney's grand 100th anniversary in 2023, LEGO is certainly releasing many themed sets this year. Following the three new BrickHeadz products, new product information has recently been revealed! This article will bring you details on the "Up House" (tentative translation), set number 43217, from the movie "Up".
Released in 2009, "Up" tells the adventure story of an elderly man, Carl Fredricksen, and a young boy, Russell, who unexpectedly embark on a journey to Paradise Falls. Along this journey, they forge a friendship and become the best of companions despite their age difference. "Up" not only brilliantly presents a thrilling fantasy adventure but also profoundly depicts life's undeniable realities. Carl's house, which incredibly flies into the sky with balloons, has become one of the most iconic symbols of this work.
According to currently released information, the "43217 Up House" contains a total of 598 pieces, mini-recreating this colorful and beautiful house to LEGO minifigure scale. However, the number of balloons is truly a bit too few! You'll definitely need to purchase additional parts to supplement them~ After being LEGO-fied, the exterior's color palette has become brighter, and the house's wooden plank textures are less pronounced. The interior is decorated with photos, a Paradise Falls poster, an adventure book, a compass, a wooden red bird toy, and more. Even the design with numerous door locks has been faithfully recreated. Outside, there's also a small fenced scene. The minifigures include Carl Fredricksen, Russell, and the dog Dug. How wonderful!
