Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya recently announced the upcoming release of the latest expansion armament product, the "Exosuit Unit," for their popular 'Frame Arms Girl' plastic model kit series, slated for July 2023.
The "Exosuit Unit" features a cockpit and control levers that connect to the Frame Arms Girl body, as well as articulated axes that can attach to the limbs of a Frame Arms model. This allows for the combination of separately sold Frame Arms Girl and Frame Arms bodies, offering two styles that blend the pre- and post-bishoujo transformation aesthetics. This creates a new playstyle where a girl pilots an exosuit. The Exosuit Unit also includes numerous 3mm connection points and several connecting parts, allowing it to be combined with expansion armaments like Kotobukiya's M.S.G series.
This playstyle is compatible with most Frame Arms Girls currently released by Kotobukiya. In addition to the standalone combo pack "Gourai-Kai with Type 32 Model 1 Gourai," official examples have also been showcased with Stylet, Baselard, Hresvelgr, Magatsuki, Architect, and more, demonstrating a wide variety of play options!
