Zaofeng Craft announced that it has obtained authorization from the renowned Japanese game company SNK to launch the "Metal Slug 2 - 3D Sound H-Ammo Box iPASS" in Taiwan for Metal Slug 2's 25th anniversary. This product fully materializes the familiar Heavy Machine Gun, both in its appearance and sound effects!
This time, Zaofeng Craft has adopted a technology different from other sound-enabled electronic tickets, creating the familiar in-game sound effects to activate upon pressing. This ensures that memories are not only triggered during use; you can press it anytime you're bored to recall the joy of conquering desert ruins and bravely venturing into alien bases!
Pre-orders are scheduled to open on March 2, 2023, at 12:00 PM (noon) through designated channels.
Metal Slug 2 (colloquially known in Taiwan as Metal Slug 2), which launched on February 23, 1998, proudly celebrates its 25th anniversary this year! With its unique and charming art style and easy-to-learn gameplay, it once swept across Taiwan's streets and alleys.
In that era, among the various arcade games played, "Metal Slug 2" definitely held a prominent place! It kept friends from the 60s and 70s generations coming back for more. They would insert coins again and again, continuing through levels, just to hear that iconic phrase: "Heavy Machine Gun"!
On the 25th anniversary of "Metal Slug 2," following last year's release of the "Metal Slug 2 Tank-Shaped iPASS", Zaofeng Craft has once again obtained SNK's authorization to launch the physical "Metal Slug 2 - 3D Sound H-Ammo Box iPASS." It faithfully recreates the familiar in-game item sound effect (Heavy Machine Gun) and is equipped with iPASS functionality. Whether for MRT, bus, or convenience store payments, we can carry the "Heavy Machine Gun" from our memories, accompanying us as we bravely move forward!
